We have been restoring fine antique furniture for some 30 years, and bring all our knowledge and experience to the restoration of our rocking horses. We take no easy shortcuts, and use only the best materials and tried and tested methods.

All our antique rocking horses date from about 1880 to 1930, the golden period of rocking horse manufacture, and have been thoroughly but sympathetically restored in our workshop. This pretty medium size rocking horse is typical of the work of highly regarded makers, F.H. Ayres of London, and dates from the Edwardian period circa1910.

This delightful small rocking horse was made by G&J Lines of London, circa 1880.
Rocking horses were produced in a wide range of sizes, from the very small to the extra large, but the two sizes most commonly encountered are the medium and large. Availability of old horses is unpredictable, so please contact us for details of current stock. |
